The main corridor

Rose ran into the queen's room and deposited the drink on the ornate bedside cabinet, she just stood there savouring the majestic design of the queen's room. She was about to exit when she heard footsteps approach the door.

The queen slowly pushed open the door and entered, followed by two maids. Her beautiful black ringlets rustled ever so slightly as she moved gracefully across the room towards the bed. She was wearing a velvet green dress edged with diamonds and other precious crystals, which showed that she had just come in from dinner. The maids looked as solemn and tight-lipped as their master. They looked scornfully at Rose. The queen also turned to Rose.
"Leave the drink and go now." she ordered sternly, before sitting on the edge of her bed.

Roes hurried to her feet and gave a small bow, her hair falling down over her face, "Yes ma'm" she stood up and made her way through the door walking slightly faster than before to avoid the stern glares of the queen's maids who were standing still glaring at Rose, she felt uncomfortable in the queens room, even before the queen entered, it an air or majesty but also of disdain and she was happy to leave. At the door way she gave another respectful curtsy in the directino of the queen, igonoring the maids' icy glares. She quickly the room and shut the door behind her. Rose breathed a sigh of relief, the queen was beautiful and majestic but also Rose found herself scared of her, her eyes seemed to look at everything with disdain even though she had the finest rooms and clothes in the land. "If looks could kill..." Rose thought to herself before setting off for the servants quaters.
