Re: The servants' quarters
Kyando and the soldiers and apprentices now began to wake up. Kyando slipped out of the linen sheets and quickly changed into her red robe. She also put her armour on - it was evident she was going out today. The guards also armoured up. The apprentices, as usual, put on their silk jackets.
It was Shisui who kicked open the door. He looked slightly calmer than yesterday, but he still seemed to be on edge. Kyando stood to attention along with the guards, not saying a word. Shisui walked forward, pushinbg one of the servants to the floor as he did so, but not injuring them this time.
"Guards to their positions! Leading soldiers!" he looked at Kyando. "Prepare to leave! We're going back to the wastes - two soldiers were reported dead yesterday!" he growled. "We'll get revenge in blood for the blood they took."
He turned to the servants. "Clean the palace until dinner, and then help serve the meals." he commanded, before marching out and slamming the door. Kyando and the soldiers also left. The apprentices slipped out as usual to go to madame Solomon and lessons. The servants were the only ones left.

Re: The servants' quarters
Rose sat and waited for the other servants to leave before going her self, hiding the newspaper under her apron and running down to the kitchens, yet she was worrying about Kyando. She ran down the stairs to the kitchens being careful not to fall and carefully dropped the newspaper into the fire. After the cook had scolded her for being late she was told to serve the food, she picked up the plates and carried them into the dining room being careful to drop any plates and handed them to all the oficals and royals sitting at the table. Eventually she came to the queen who was sitting at the head of the table looking stern, Rose carefully handed her the food and gave a long curtsy before setting off but not before noticing Shisui's and Kyando's places were empty.
